Susan and Clint are both Obedience Instructors for the Thunder Bay Kennel & Training Club. Susan has organized several Tracking Trials for the Club, and she has held training classes at our home for many club members. We are also very active with the Lakehead Retriever Club, all training is held here on our fields and our newly built 200' X 400' pond. Upcoming trials that are put on by our Club will be hosted here. Clint being President assures the Club will always have proper training facilities.

Susan has been Show Handling and working with all breed dogs for some twenty years, and has put Championships, Obedience, and Tracking titles on many a dog from both Canada and the United States. She has taken them from puppies, to Best Puppy In Show, and Best In Show dogs. Her first love is and will always be German Shepherds.

Susan and her mother Charlotte Smith have been in the Shepherd business involved in both breeding and showing for over twenty five years. In Susan's and Clint's many years of experience with dogs, they have survived the good times and the sad times, Trying to do their best to improve the breed, and to provide you with the best friend you'll ever have.
